Job Description: - Work with customers and marketing team to determine product requirements and define the IC system and architecture based on the requirements, - Analyze/simulate and experiment the IC in a range of applications, - Work with IC designers to implement the product, evaluate silicon and compare to the original design proposals, - Work with IC designers and application engineers on datasheets. - Work with Application engineers for the demo boards. Requirements: - A MSEE and 3+ years relevant experience. - A keen understanding of switching power system and topologies, for example, Flyback, forward, PFC, DC/DC converter (Buck and Boost) etc. is needed. - Proven experience of Switching power supply or LED driver design is a must. - Understanding PWM control, Orcad/Pspice, Sabre, Matlab/Simulink or other high level modeling language. - Good analytical skills, lab experience, and communication skills are also needed.
